Ulicznicy - Urchins

This time I spent evening looking at 7-th International Festival of Street Art in Gliwice. Maybe it wasn't very sofisticated art, but it was nice to see that young people engage in cultural activities or sports.

Of course, mainly kids had fun but their parents also looked amused.

Fitness Jogging

Single man has to spend his leisure time, many afternoons in a hotel. If the weather and mood are good, I run around the lake Mosvatnet. In the evening, the sun is already low and in those hours warm light illuminates the impressive trees growing along the paths around the lake. Trees look impressive and monumental, almost like in the heart of the forest.

Fitness Jogging

Apparently, not only I find this place as attractive. It is widely regarded as the place for recreation. All people run here, regardless of their age and fitness level.

I felt myself strange among all these runners. It is a pity that I can not take pictures while running. I would be better suited to the prevailing mood here.

No one was standing, no one was walking, but everyone was running. The only exception was a little girl, who came here on her bike.

Until next time.

Pulpit Rock

The most famous touristic atractions of Ryfylke are Lysefiord, Kjeragbolten and Preikestolen. I saw Lysefiord last summer. This year I got an opportunity to visit Preikestolen. A ferryboat and bus took me from Stavanger to opposite side of the bay, where a nice but a little bit tiring walk begun.

Preikestolen - Pulpit Rock

Preikestolen - Pulpit Rock

Climbing up from a place where bus dropped me out took me about two hours. Path was steeply up but it was nice walk. Slender vegetation was trying to keep on a thin layer of soil.

Two hours later I reached the pass, where I got a prize - a view along Lysefjord.

Preikestolen - Pulpit Rock

The culmination of this walk was edge of mountain above the fjord. It looked impresive, especially for these who suffer acrophobia. There was no handrails, but folks seemed to don't care of the hight.

Preikestolen - Pulpit Rock

There was motorboat 600 meters below my feets. It would be almost not visible if not her kilwater.

And another motorboat ...

Why there are no handrails? Nobody care.

Now only walk back down remained and ferry across the bay, back to Stavanger.

Preikestolen - Pulpit Rock

Round trip takes 5 hours and costs about 250 NOK. Now only Kjeragbolten remains. I hope that CRP testing session will help me to reach last target available here.

New project

Just yesterday at home life was flowing as usually... In other words "Full House".

Halinka

My wife, fortunately, never stays alone at home, when I am traveling.

The break I had ended and today I am again on my way. "Band on the Run"...

Wuppertal

I have short and intesive visit, during which there is no time for city sight seeing. However there is an opportunity to see one thing,  for which this city is known. There was no space for tram or underground there, so nice and holiday like train carrys people allongside a river.

The workshop suggests me, that this project will be quite unique as well.
